PulseBot for Care & Independent Living

Technology that stays when the carer leaves.

Human care matters. PulseBot is intended to extend connection and support between human interactions — not replace carers.

PulseBot PB1 in the home, connected to the secure pulsebot.lynaria.com care platform, brings together physical conversation, reminders, check-ins and authorised remote presence. Organisations, households and trusted contacts stay connected while people remain at the centre.

Between visits

A little more support between visits.

A carer may visit for part of the day. Family may call regularly. But there can still be many hours when somebody living independently is on their own.

PulseBot Care pairs PB1 in the home with the pulsebot.lynaria.com platform so useful interaction, reminders and authorised connection can continue during those periods — while keeping people linked to the humans who matter.

How PulseBot Care works

A secure care portal, PB1 in the home or care setting, and the trusted people around someone — connected through conversation, reminders, check-ins and authorised remote presence.

  1. Care portal Organisations and households configure robots, contacts, reminders and check-ins.
  2. PB1 on site The robot pairs to the platform and delivers physical conversation and scheduled prompts.
  3. Interaction Wake-word conversation, spoken reminders and wellbeing prompts where configured.
  4. Response & events Answers and no-answer outcomes are recorded as care events — not medical diagnoses.
  5. Trusted contacts Family, carers and organisations see notifications and history through the platform.

What we have built

Care capabilities today

PulseBot PB1 and pulsebot.lynaria.com form a robot plus cloud care platform we are deploying with partners. Labels show what is on the robot, what runs on the platform and what is a configured care workflow. PulseBot is not a medical device.

Available

Conversation & companionship

Wake-word interaction, spoken commands and multi-turn conversation on PB1.

Available

Human-aware attention

Camera-based person detection with head and attention oriented toward people in the room.

Care workflow

Reminders & routines

Schedules configured in the care portal; PB1 speaks reminders physically at the appropriate time.

Care workflow

Medication reminders

Medication reminder workflows through the platform and robot — prompts only, not medical advice or dispensing.

Care workflow

Wellbeing check-ins

Routine wellbeing and check-in workflows with response or no-answer events recorded for the care platform.

Care platform

Trusted contacts

Household and organisation contacts configured for notifications and authorised connection — not autonomous monitoring.

Care platform

Remote presence

Authorised remote video, two-way audio, head/look control and manual driving with session controls and emergency stop.

Care platform

Care portal

Customer, household and organisation portal at pulsebot.lynaria.com for robots, care configuration and history.

Care platform

Organisation & household management

Robot pairing, multi-household support and administration for care organisations and structured deployments.

Care platform

Notifications & audit history

Notification workflows, audit events, robot heartbeat and online status for operational visibility.

Available

Indoor mobile platform

PB1 moves indoors as a physical presence for spoken interaction and remote sessions where configured.

Future / exploratory

Smart-home & sensor integration

Exploratory integrations with external sensors and assistive technology — scoped per pilot, not standard PB1.

Authorised connection

Remote presence when someone cannot be there in person

An authorised family member, carer or organisation user can remotely connect to PB1 through the care platform — with appropriate permissions and session controls.

  • Remote video connection and two-way microphone/speaker communication
  • Remote head and look control, manual driving and person tracking during a session
  • Session controls and emergency stop

Remote presence is initiated by authorised users. It is not continuous autonomous surveillance and does not replace in-person care or professional safeguarding processes.

Physical care workflows

Reminders & check-ins on the robot

Care workflows we have demonstrated connect the portal, PB1 and recorded events — without claiming medical outcomes.

  1. Configure A reminder or check-in is scheduled in the care portal.
  2. Deliver PB1 receives the schedule and speaks the reminder at the appropriate time.
  3. Listen Where configured, PB1 waits for a spoken response.
  4. Record Response or no-answer is captured as a care event.
  5. Share The platform makes the outcome available to authorised contacts and audit history.

Robot + cloud + human connection

PB1 provides the physical presence in the room. pulsebot.lynaria.com provides configuration, contacts, notifications and auditability. People provide care, judgement and relationship.

Built around human care

Robots shouldn't replace human care.
They should help human care reach further.

PulseBot Care is an additional layer for the hours between human interactions — connection, assistance and a physical link to the platform while carers, families and professionals remain responsible for care decisions.

Pilot PulseBot Care with your organisation

We work with care providers, extra-care and supported living providers, housing associations, care homes, local authorities and technology partners who want a responsible path from pilot to wider deployment.

Whether you need one PB1 for evaluation or a structured multi-site pilot, tell us about the setting and the outcomes you are trying to support — not about identifiable individuals receiving care.

Safety & privacy

Conservative by design

Care technology must earn trust through consent, clarity and appropriate use — especially where cameras, microphones and notifications are involved.

PulseBot Care is developed with attention to privacy, authorised access and auditability. Deployment models, escalation paths and data handling are agreed with each organisation — not assumed.

PulseBot is not a medical device. It is not intended to diagnose, treat or monitor medical conditions, detect falls, guarantee someone’s safety, provide certified safeguarding, or contact emergency services. It does not replace carers or clinical judgement.

Care enquiry

Tell us about the setting, not the person.

Please do not include medical information or details that could identify someone receiving care. This form is for organisational and exploratory conversations only.
